Description

The final-year course guides students to a proficiency level where they can use the language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Through a programme of written and oral classes, they gain the skills to achieve up to or beyond Level C1 (depending on exposure) on the Common European Framework, making them `proficient language users'. Oral classes develop their ability to express themselves fluently and spontaneously and understand speech intended for native speakers. Written classes enhance their ability to understand demanding, longer written texts, produce clear, well-structured texts on complex subjects and provide nuanced, accurate translations into English
